Ep.2/ Stop Saying You’re Stuck
This episode is all about how to maintain and grow healthy relationships with your family.
LISTEN NOW
Let me tell you something plainly.
You’re not stuck.
I know it feels that way sometimes. I know what it’s like to wake up and feel that quiet tension sitting on your chest. Nothing is completely wrong, but nothing feels fully right either. You’re moving, you’re producing, you’re showing up—but something underneath all of that is shifting, and you can’t quite name it yet.
That doesn’t mean you’ve lost your way completely.
It simply means something is changing.
Ep.2/
Stop Saying You're Stuck. You’re Being Repositioned.
There comes a point where the things that once fit you… just don’t anymore.
The role you worked so hard to earn.
The title that used to feel like validation.
The environment that once felt like opportunity.
You are who you are, so you can still do it. You can still succeed there. If we’re being honest, you probably do it better than most.
But now it feels like you’re carrying it instead of growing in it and that’s the part people don’t always talk about.
Because from the outside, everything still looks good. You’re still the one people rely on. Still the one who figures it out. Still the one who gets it done. You get the check and then you check out.
But on the inside, something is asking a different question:
Is this still aligned with the person I’m becoming?
hat question can feel unsettling.
It can make you second-guess yourself. It can make you wonder if you’re being ungrateful, or impatient, or unrealistic.
It can make you pause right at the edge of your own next level.
So instead of moving, you stay still.
Not because you don’t have options.
Not because you lack clarity.
But because you haven’t fully trusted what you’re sensing yet.
Let me offer you another way to look at this.
What if you’re not stuck at all?
What if you’re being repositioned?
Repositioning doesn’t always feel like progress, which we tend to think of as linear.
Sometimes it feels like discomfort.
Like restlessness.
Like a quiet dissatisfaction you can’t shake, even when everything looks fine on paper. Even when everything looks like the checklist you wrote for yourself 5 years ago.
But that discomfort is doing something important.
It’s creating space.
Space for you to see more clearly.
Space for you to tell the truth about what you want.
Space for you to stop performing a version of life that no longer fits.
You are not who you were when you first stepped into this space.
You’ve learned too much.
You’ve seen too much.
You’ve grown too much.
The world is a different place.
And growth has a way of making old environments feel smaller—not because they changed, but because you did.
So now the question is not, “How do I make this work?”
The question is, “How do I transition well?”
This is where leadership becomes personal.
Not in a performative way. Not in a way that asks you to overshare or overexplain.
But in a way that requires you to be honest with yourself.
Honest about what you want.
Honest about what you’re ready for.
Honest about what you’re no longer willing to carry.
That kind of honesty can feel risky because once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
But clarity doesn’t always come all at once.
Sometimes it comes in small, quiet moments.
The thought that keeps returning.
The idea you can’t shake.
The vision that feels both exciting and a little bit inconvenient.
Pay attention to all of that.
That’s not confusion.
That’s information.
You don’t need to rush to fix anything.
You don’t need to force a decision just to feel like you’re moving.
What you need is space to listen, and the willingness to trust what you hear.
Because this moment—this in-between space—is not wasted time.
It is preparation.
It is alignment.
It is the beginning of something that requires a different version of you.
And that version of you?
She’s not unsure; she’s discerning.
She’s not behind; she’s becoming.
So no, you’re not stuck. Quit saying that you are.
You’re standing at the edge of a shift that is asking you to lead yourself differently.
A moment that is asking you for a principled commitment to something you are actually choosing for yourself.
And when you do, everything else will begin to move with you.
If this resonated with you, stay.
There’s more to uncover, more to name, and more to build.
You don’t have to figure it out all at once.
You just have to be willing to keep listening.
